Dade BehringDade Behring,a manufacturer of clinical diagnostic equipment, typically gets paid one and a half to two months after the shipment of new equipment. By partnering with GE Healthcare Financial Services, months have become days. We finance a majority of Dade Behring's U.S. equipment placements. With such a large amount of cash receipts coming from us, Dade Behring considers quick payment a top priority. To meet this priority and align payment to product shipment, we put GE's world-renowned Six Sigma Quality process to work. GE Healthcare Financial Services quality experts brought Dade Behring and our sales/operations team together to map and streamline the deal origination process for both equipment and financing. The result was payments within 5 days after shipment on 75% of the Dade Behring/GE deals. "Receiving quick payments has had a major positive impact on our cash flow," says Nancy Krejsa, Vice President of Supply Chain for Dade Behring. "In fact, we gained a benefit of $250,000 in the first year after implementation of the new process." |
