Chicago, July 11, 2005 - GE Commercial Finance Healthcare Financial Services has provided Life Care Centers of America (LCCA) - one of the nation's leading operators of skilled nursing, assisted living, retirement, home care and Alzheimer's centers - with a $104 million fixed-rate term loan to refinance 22 skilled nursing facilities across 11 states.

This loan will enable LCCA to consolidate 22 skilled nursing properties under one lender; previously all 22 of LCCA's skilled nursing facilities had financing agreements with multiple lenders. GE Commercial Finance Healthcare Financial Services is one of only a few lenders providing long-term fixed-rate, debt financing for skilled-nursing operators, a solution previously available only through government lenders.
